About Our Wedding Boudoir Photography Service & PackagesBoudoir photography is a sexy new trend that's becoming popular as a wedding day gift from a bride to her groom. Wedding boudoir photos consist of tasteful images being taken of the bride while wearing her full make up, underwear or favourite lingerie with heels & jewellery etc for a sexy presentation gift to her future love & husband to be. Inspired from the classic pinups of the late 40s & early 50s images can also contain what we call 'implied nudes. Remember this is entirely up to the individual as images can also consist of semi or complete nude shots, while not showing anything off (for example shots from the back while lying down on your side, lying on your stomach, sitting on a chair with your back towards the camera etc). Who will take your Boudoir pictures & be present at the shoot?While Paul Anthony Photography has embraced this new trend – this is all down to the brides who have repeatedly requested that we provide these Boudoir Wedding services as additional packages. As my business is registered with The Society of International Fashion and Glamour Photographers I Paul Anthony must comply with the societies rules & regulations, as the individual bride taking part must be of at least 18 years of age. Due to the nature of the photo shoot a bride must also complete and sign a disclaimer contract giving her consent for this service to take place. While Paul Anthony Photography owns full copyright no image or images in part or whole taken from these sessions will be displayed in any form, unless verbal or written permission is granted from the Bride or person(s) representing.Apart from me & my personal assistant brides are welcome to have their own stylist, makeup artist & one friend present at the shoot. Once your shoot has been completed many brides like to have the best of their boudoir images bound in one of our 7x5 mini albums. Make him blush with the perfect Wedding gift. Another good idea is that brides like to seal one of their images taken with a red or pink lipstick kiss. All the images will be taken at the highest resolution having being worked on in CS-5, this includes cropping contrast & colour balance, plus any effects required at an additional cost. When should I schedule the session?We recommend that you wait until two weeks before the wedding though you might be inclined to arrange for the session on the morning of your wedding, resist the urge. For one it's best that you give him your gift on the day, Second, do you really want your to-be mother-in-law walking in on you while you're posing in just your veil & underwear, Stick with a separate shoot so you'll have time to really feel comfortable and get some great shots in. How long will my session last?This all depends on the package you choose, our Wedding boudoir photo sessions cover between two-four hours. With time taken up for hair and makeup, costume changes plus the additional lighting setups & backdrop change especially in a room shoot. Time will also be taken up as you settle in with your first tests shots looking a bit nervy & rigid at first but this is only natural. Apart from your own room & house etc we do photo sessions in a studio room, other ideas include a room at your wedding venue (some venues will let you do a few shots a couple of days before your wedding), posh hotel rooms even a friend’s house can be another option. The most important factor is that your session remains private & discreet as a bond needs to develop between you & the photographer to get the best results. It’s important that you stay in your comfort zone! feel what is comfortable while the photographer directs your pose. If preferred you can include several locations in your package shoot to give a greater variation in the images taken, these shoots can be arranged & taken on different days from home, studio room or outdoors.Some examples include (wheat fields with tall grass, woods, barns, beaches & sea side rocks, Stately Homes & large flower bed Gardens etc ....all providing secluded locations). Please note fuel charges may be applied to customized shoots & the use of private lands may need the owner’s permission.Looking good & what to wearFor your session shoots choose outfits that make you feel sexy. In addition to your wedding lingerie & shoes don't forget patent heels/sandals in black & red enhance white, our focus will also be on jewellery for example ear rings, bracelets, pearls and the all important engagement ring bring defined detail to the image. Other factors to consider! Is there something he likes? Do you have some favourite lingerie in black & white or bright colours to mix and match? A corset will create sexy curves; a see through baby doll outfit will be enhanced with studio back lighting, along with traditional stockings, suspenders or hold ups to give your legs the wow factor. Brides have included many props in their sessions for example his shirt with a tie is popular, his favourite team top with a football, if he is a musician have a shoot with is favourite instrument....Other popular items have included boxing gloves, sun glasses, coloured wigs, hats, umbrellas, flowers, red rose petals, milk & chocolate flake. Bath tub shots with bubbles, shower shots wearing underwear, plus men's favourites such as sports cars & motorbikes the list can be endless. Can I bring a friend along?This is entirely up to you! We do encourage you to bring one friend along to help you feel more at ease before & during a shoot , having a bit of fun and a good laugh will soon put your nerves at ease, as the shoot progresses they will soon dissipate. Another plus for having a friend present is that she may be able to help with ideas & suggestions. Also if you still feel the experience is a little strange another good idea is to a bring a bottle of bubbly with you. A little drink may help loosen things up & we will have you posing like a professional model in no time – remember this is a one-time-only exclusive shoot for a very special person (your future husband).
